First read then halt

Speed Limit : 120

This means that IF u exceed the speed limit of that particular road ONLY then will u be fined if caught by (on ?) the radar.
A very common practice among UAE drivers is to slow down when they see the radar thingy.
Will someone tell that arse in the Sunny that u have to first EXCEED the speed and then put the brakes on.
Now that off my chest I feel so light.

The blogging community is a very large one. Every second person is a blogger. Some blog abt their daily lives, some abt idiots on the roads, some get all political it varies from one blog to another.Nonetheless, most make interesting reads and the variety is fun.
Some blog about stupid young Arabs.
Please note all kids are stupid. (no offence to the young people bas u are I cant help it)
Teens in particular go through a phase where they want to fit in, be hip, part of a cliche, leader of the gang, be different.I have noticed in two blogs in particular (no i m not telling u who) usually trash the teens. Both these bloggers are arabs, but they either lived or studied abroad and now they think the local kids are just dumb.
I sometimes see kids dressed in the clothes that are 5 sizes too big and think to myself, yeah that is a good investment till you turn 30.
They make a good laugh but what are u trying to prove when u set these people down time and time again.Check the next generation of the Arabs, they are the dumbest people ever.Once these kids turn 20 they will dramatically evolve (I so hope they do) into respectable citizens.
Cut them some slack..

To be just, that is to say, to justify its existence, criticism should be partial, passionate and political, that is to say, written from an exclusive point of view, but a point of view that opens up the widest horizons.

Melixevven, the Tilirreh of Orange - Your Tilirr Quiz Result

Which of the Lords of Rainbow do you serve?

Melixevven

She is the Tilirreh of Orange.

Melixevven symbolizes Laughter and Exuberance, and is the Lady of Joy.

Orange light causes the giggles and ravenous pangs of hunger — yes, don't laugh now. But then, you would laugh, woudn't you?

*smack!*

(No, I didn't say "snack," you are just getting hungry! Criminy.)

If you have a Melixevven-guided personality then you can be a very silly person. That is, silly on the surface. What others see in you is merely the lighthearted facade of a deep bountiful spring of energy and optimism that — just like fizzing champagne bubbles rising to the surface of a smooth golden drink — is merely the overflow of warm powerfully flowing under-currents.

You are full of cheer and contagious excitement, and you can bring out the carefree child in others. You are a magical pixie and a wondrous trickster, light of heart as an elven creature of the air, yet warm as a hot spring of water, bouncy as a soft ball of earth, and sizzling with mischief as a flame.

Be careful however — not everyone can always understand your eternal happy mood, not all of us can handle jokes and pranks, nor are we as readily capable of laughing at ourselves. Some sad, less fortunate people can be rather irritated and put off by your mood and by you. But don't take it personally and don't let it spoil your own exuberance.

Instead, always try to light your fires slowly and to test the emotional and psychological temperature of every room that you enter before setting off your fireworks of joy. In fact, it may be best to start off with a softly warming ember and build it up, until the room fills gradually and gently with your light. This is a very difficult thing for an impulsive sprite like you, but think of it as a challenge!

Also, remember that all joy has a solid reason behind it. You sense it instinctually but not everyone is as lucky or as perceptive as you. So see if you can find joy's source and then show it to others as an undeniable thing, solid and real. This is the ultimate way to be taken seriously.

Clowns and comedians, storytellers, florists, matchmakers, lovers of fast movement, tourists and foreign travelers, musicians and minstrels and troubadours, dancers and performing artists, cooks, designers and decorators, and young people of all ages who take joy in ordinary things are often guided by the sparkling light of Melixevven.

More so than all the other Tilirr Personalities you understand the pleasure inherent in the simple act of living. You understand the myriad connections between yourself and others and for that reason find it easy to laugh at it all, and at yourself more than anything.

Without you the world would be a very sad place indeed, so remember that you are intensely needed by all of us, even when we pretend otherwise. You remind us of what is so easy to lose track of — of our own youth and of the natural wonders all around us. You teach us to dance and laugh, to notice dust motes in the sun and the color of the wind and the language of the rain, and to be grateful and to give thanks and praise to the wonders of the universe.

You teach us how to entertain ourselves.

For you have fathomed the Orange Mystery of Melixevven that nothing in the world should ever be taken for granted, that it's the little things that make up the greater whole, and that when all is said and done, happiness is our reason for being.

As well you should, for you are the salt of the earth and the spice of our life.

cheers

I just want to

Pack a few clothes, get a digicam find a friend who will accompany me and drive off to Lebanon.
but instead i will have to :

  • First transfer the car to my name .
  • Get permission from Dad to go  (that will require a lot of convincing)
  • find a frnd whose father is gonna be as broadminded as me :)
  • make sure i dont need a "male relative" to accompany me thru any of the countries that i pass
  • buy a digicam.
  • find road map to Lebanon
  • and finally my dad will say no!

So the easy thing to do here is just quit dreaming, return to my work and enjoy the summer heat on my face.
Don't u just love being me.

Cheers al :)

my Dad's advices..

I was prolly 15 when i had my first driving lesson. It was off-road and my dad was my tutor.
There were no rules.Just accelerate. My father suddenly told me to stop.It was the worst halt i had ever made.
"It is not all abt speeding, learn to control so if u have to stop u dont hurt many ppl and always keep an eagle's watch for surprises"
Then, I thought he was talking abt driving.
Now I know what he actually meant.

nice weekend ?? yeah

My weekend didnt turn out so bad, esp after it didnt go as planned.
My cousin's wife who just despies me (i dunno why) was really nice to me at her baby's one yr old party. It wasnt a PARTY, just first family from the maternal and the paternal side.

Now how would u define first family? Well in my case, everyone who is descended from my paternal grandad's  side is first family that includes my three uncles and three aunts, their kids and grandkids. Are first cousins really first family? My Grandad has seven brothers, their kids, grandkids and great grandkids are also considered family. They are not included in the daily gossip but are the first ones to know abt wedding dates, deaths, anyone sick.

This sis-in-law loved the present that I got the baby, it was a teddy bear and my parents being away no way in hell could i afford to buy the kid some gold .. well i could but  i wasnt going to esp after how nice the mother is to me all the time by simply ignoring me.The lady had a tremendous change of heart. She whispered to me (ahem) how glad she was when she finally saw a "toy", as that is the only gift the baby would appreciate.Everyone else had bought in gold and if my mother would be around she would have done the same. My family and gold presents are a "thing", if its not gold its not for family.

i went for a late night show or should i call it a early morning movie after that. There was this guy sitting behind me who had to sing and comment on everything. First I give him the look by turning my head around (exorcist style). After ten minutes he starts again, this time laughing at his own jokes which were not funny.I just stood up and looked at him then everyone looked at me and then at him. That shut him up for the rest of the movie.NOT a word, I didnt even have to open my mouth to ask him to keep quite.

I met one of my mom's cousin at my uncle's place. He couldn't get enuff of how much i resemble my mom.He was on and on abt how my mom was when she was younger. Boy did he have stories.Later my uncle's wife confides in me that he(this cousin) wanted to actually marry my mom. hmmm .. so my mom has skeletons too.Well this will make nice conversation once she is back ,,muhahah a muhahahaha

Cheers
